Sunday, April 14, 9:30 a.m.

Blessed Lord, who caused all holy Scriptures to be written for our learning: Grant us so to hear them, read, mark, learn, and inwardly digest them, that we may embrace and ever hold fast the blessed hope of everlasting life, which you have given us in our Savior Jesus Christ; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

This prayer, the Collect for Proper 28 in the Book of Common Prayer, is a good reminder for all Christians as we work through studying the Holy Bible. In the Reflections Class, we work on hearing, reading, marking, learning and inwardly digesting the lectionary text for each week so that we can carry the text with us in to the worship service and our lives. We hope you’ll consider joining us when we resume the class next year. In the meantime, we will join the Adult Christian Education program and resume our work on February 24, 2019.
