St. Luke's Response to the Covid-19 Pandemic

St. Luke's has responded to the global pandemic of Covid-19 by cancelling all in-person services since March 22nd, 2020. Since then the Vestry of St. Luke's has regularly met via online meetings to discuss and plan for when we will be able to safely host in-person services once again.

During this time, St. Luke's has been blessed with our new priest, Rev. Jeffrey Samuel and his family. Rev. Samual moved to Jackson in July and immediately got to work. Together with the help of members of the Vestry, Rev. Samuel started hosting online Morning Prayer services on Sundays.

With much planning and preperations, St. Luke's is happy to announce that we will being hosting in-person services once again starting September 6th, 2020. The Vestry and Rev. Samuel put together a re-engagement plan that has been approved by the Diocese. If you would like to review the whole plan, you can find it here

The health and safety of anyone who wishes to attend in-person services is St. Luke's number one priority. As per the approved re-engagement plan, we have blocked off alternating pews to allow for social distancing. We will also be limiting the number of people in the Nave to 40. Social distancing will be enforced and mask are required to be properly worn at all times while in St. Luke's.

For anyone who does not feel comfortable or is unable to make it to the in-person service, we will still be streaming the service online.
