Choral Evensong on the Feast of Pentecost
On Sunday, May 24, 2026 at 4:oo pm, St. Luke’s Episcopal Church will present a service of Choral Evensong for the Feast of Pentecost, featuring the St. Luke’s Evensong Choir and with voluntaries before and after the service offered by the St. Luke’s Handbell Ringers. This will be the last Choral Evensong of the 2025-2026 Choral Season. A wine and cheese reception in the parish commons will follow the service.

Choral Evensong in Eastertide
This service will feature canticles and an anthem by Charles Villiers Stanford (1852-1924), the Magnificat and Nunc Dimittis in C Major, Op. 115 and the Easter anthem Ye choirs of new Jerusalem. The service also includes a popular recent setting of the canticle Phos Hilaron by British composer Owain Park (b. 1993) .

“Blow the trumpet in the new moon” - regal music for trumpet and organ on the Feast of Christ the King
On November 23, 2025 at 4 pm, in celebration of the Feast of Christ the King, Jeffrey Hoffman, St. Luke's Episcopal Church's organist and director of music will be joined by the Jackson Symphony's Dr. Joey Moore in presenting a concert of music for trumpet and organ in repertoire spanning five centuries by some of the world’s great composers.
