2026 Vestry Candidates
Each January at our annual Parish Meeting (this year on Jan. 18th at 9:00am), three members of the Vestry rotate off and new candidates take their place. Worcester Cathedral Choral Residence
Our Saint Luke’s Evensong Choir (our parish choir with friends from the wider Jackson community and beyond who enjoy singing Choral Evensong with us) is going to England in July 2026 for a weeklong residence, singing choral services at Worcester Cathedral and visiting notable sites in the surrounding area.

“Blow the trumpet in the new moon” - regal music for trumpet and organ on the Feast of Christ the King
On November 23, 2025 at 4 pm, in celebration of the Feast of Christ the King, Jeffrey Hoffman, St. Luke's Episcopal Church's organist and director of music will be joined by the Jackson Symphony's Dr. Joey Moore in presenting a concert of music for trumpet and organ in repertoire spanning five centuries by some of the world’s great composers.

Fall Food Drive for RIFA
St. Luke’s is hosting a food drive to help support our community this holiday season. Each week, we’ll be focusing on different items that you can drop off at the church on Sundays, and it will be donated to RIFA. There is a wagon in the Narthex where you can leave your items. Music for our All Souls Day Requiem Mass - with guest baritone Scott Bearden
Fauré's Requiem, Op. 48 has been described as "a lullaby of death." He himself said of the work "it is thus that I see death: as a happy deliverance, an aspiration towards happiness above, rather than as a painful experience."
We will have a visiting baritone soloist for this occasion, my good friend Scott Bearden, who teaches at the University of Arkansas, will be joining us to sing the solos of the Requiem. Jackson's own Alyssa Marshall will be the soprano soloist.
