Congratulations to the St. Luke's Gardeners! St. Luke's was one of five receiving the Pillars of the Community award.

On August 13th, 2026, St. Luke's was presented with the Mayor's Civic Pride, Jackson Community Pillar award. The annual Mayor’s Civic Pride Awards recognize individuals who take exceptional care of their properties, including well-kept yards, beautiful landscaping and/or hardscape, and overall curb appeal. Click here for more information on the judging criteria.

The award was accepted by Abbie Hinton and Ginny DeWitt during a ceremony hosted at Carl Perkins Civic Center. Thank you to all of the gardeners at St. Luke's who have put in their time and effort to make our church beautiful!
